CED Clinic Volunteer Program

Where Cannabis Science Meets Culture Shift

If youโ€™ve ever wanted to do work that mattersโ€”to shape public understanding, challenge stigma, and actually learn while contributingโ€”this is your moment.

The CED Clinic Volunteer Program is a 3-month immersive experience designed for motivated students, early-career professionals, and curious minds who want to work alongside real clinicians, real research, and real cultural impact. You’ll be mentored by Dr. Benjamin Caplan and the CED team to turn complex cannabis science into content that educates, resonates, and moves the needle on public understanding.

This is not busywork. Itโ€™s collaborative, purposeful, and intellectually rigorousโ€”with just enough creative chaos to keep things fun.

A: Fully remote and timezone-flexible. As long as you can communicate and contribute, youโ€™re in.

How long is the volunteer commitment?

A: Three months. Many stay longer to publish, build, or deepen their contribution.

Can I do this while in school or working?

A: Yes. The workload is flexible, typically 5โ€“10 hours/week. Many volunteers balance this with jobs or academics.

A: If you show dedication and produce meaningful workโ€”yes. We love writing strong, personalized letters.

What kind of content will I create?

A: Blog posts, social media content, patient-facing guides, infographics, and sometimes even scripts or media outlines. Everything is grounded in evidence and human voice.
