The CED Fellowship: Personalized Cannabis Education for Clinicians
Most cannabis education is click-to-complete CME videos and recycled slideshows. The CED Fellowship is different: one-on-one mentorship with Dr. Benjamin Caplan, built around the clinical topics that matter most to your patients and your practice,no fluff, no filler.
Led personally by Dr. Caplan, one of the most experienced cannabis physicians in the world, this program helps clinicians confidently integrate cannabis into patient care, regardless of specialty. This isn’t just another certificate,it’s mentorship that is personal, patient-centered, clinically actionable, and evidence-based. Even accredited cannabis CME courses often skip the critical question: how does this actually help the patient sitting in front of me? What’s missing is clinical sensitivity, the art of applying cannabis to individual people, not just case studies. At CED, we combine the science, the nuance, and confidence-building mentorship, so you can practice cannabis medicine in a way that’s safe, informed, and tailored.
The Fellowship: Structure & Flow
The Fellowship is simple, but powerful: three personalized, one-hour sessions, usually spread over three weeks, entirely one-on-one with Dr. Caplan. You’ll choose three clinical topics most relevant to your patients, your role, or your practice goals, anxiety and PTSD, sleep disorders, chronic pain, cancer symptom management, geriatric care, end-of-life care, or preventative wellness among them. If you’re not sure where to start, Dr. Caplan will help you select topics that will make a difference. Along the way, you’ll receive relevant readings and assignments, with the option to observe real patient visits and follow-ups,something most cannabis trainings would never offer.
