CLINICAL OVERVIEW: The role of pharmacists in cannabis care remains largely absent despite cannabis being one of the most widely used therapeutic agents in the country, creating a significant gap in patient safety, drug interaction screening, and dosing guidance. Integrating pharmacists into cannabis dispensing and oversight could dramatically improve outcomes by ensuring patients receive the same level of professional medication management they expect from every other prescription.
