**The culinary science:** Quiche contains plenty of fat from eggs, cream, cheese, and butter, which helps carry fat-soluble cannabinoids. Blend the infused butter or oil thoroughly into the custard so every slice receives a similar dose, and avoid pooling the infusion at the bottom of the crust. Bake at moderate heat, around 325°F to 350°F, until the center is just set, since the moist custard keeps the interior cooler than the oven air and helps protect cannabinoids and terpenes. Dr. Benjamin Caplan recommends dividing the total milligrams by the number of slices before baking, cutting evenly, and labeling leftovers clearly.

**Kitchen rules:** Blend Infusion into the Custard • Bake at 325°F–350°F • Calculate Milligrams per Slice • Label and Store Safely

Not at moderate temperatures. Baking around 325\u00b0F to 350\u00b0F, with the moist custard buffering the interior, helps preserve cannabinoids.

#### How do I make sure each slice has the same dose?

Whisk the infused butter or oil thoroughly into the custard, divide the total milligrams by the number of slices, and cut evenly.

#### How long do edibles like quiche take to work?

Onset is typically 30 to 120 minutes with effects lasting several hours, so wait before eating more.

#### How should leftovers be stored?

Refrigerate in a labeled airtight container, keep away from children and pets, and reheat gently.
